Welcome
Call to Worship
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
Psalm 47:5–7 (NKJV)
Hymn # 3 Give to Our God Immortal Praise
1 Give to our God immortal praise; mercy and truth are all his ways: wonders of grace to God belong; repeat his mercies in your song.
2 Give to the Lord of lords renown; the King of kings with glory crown: his mercies ever shall endure, when lords and kings are known no more.
3 He built the earth, he spread the sky, and fixed the starry lights on high: wonders of grace to God belong; repeat his mercies in your song.
4 He fills the sun with morning light; he bids the moon direct the night: his mercies ever shall endure, when suns and moons shall shine no more.
5 He sent his Son with pow'r to save from guilt and darkness and the grave: wonders of grace to God belong; repeat his mercies in your song.
6 Through this vain world he guides our feet, and leads us to his heav'nly seat: his mercies ever shall endure, when this vain world shall be no more.
Call To Confession
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For,
“Whoever would love life and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 Peter 3:8–12 citing Psalm 34:12-16 (NIV):
Confession of Sins
Let us pray to the Lord confessing our sin, saying together:
Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
For troubles without number surround me;
my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.
They are more than the hairs of my head,
and my heart fails within me.
Be pleased to save me, Lord;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.
Psalm 40:11–13 (NIV)
Word of Comfort
As we are weary and burdened by our sin and our troubles, our Lord Jesus says to us:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28–30 (NIV)
Song of Faith
Jesus! I do now receive him, more than all in him I find; he hath granted me forgiveness, I am his, and he is mine.
Hallelujah! what a Savior! Hallelujah, what a Friend! Saving, helping, keeping, loving, he is with me to the end.

Hymn # 34 The God of Abraham Praise
1 The God of Abraham praise, who reigns enthroned above, Ancient of everlasting days and God of love. Jehovah! Great I AM! by earth and heav'n confessed; I bow and bless the sacred name, forever blest.
2 The God of Abraham praise, at whose supreme command from earth I rise, and seek the joys at his right hand. I all on earth forsake, its wisdom, fame, and pow'r, and him my only portion make, my shield and tow'r.
3 He by himself hath sworn, I on his oath depend; I shall, on eagles' wings upborne, to heav'n ascend, I shall behold his face, I shall his pow'r adore, and sing the wonders of his grace forevermore.
4 The goodly land I see, with peace and plenty blest, a land of sacred liberty and endless rest. There milk and honey flow, and oil and wine abound, and trees of life forever grow, with mercy crowned.
5 There dwells the Lord our King, the Lord our Righteousness, triumphant o'er the world and sin, the Prince of Peace. On Zion's sacred height his kingdom he maintains, and glorious with his saints in light forever reigns.
6 The whole triumphant host gives thanks to God on high; "Hail, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!" they ever cry. Hail Abraham's God and mine! I join the heav'nly lays; all might and majesty are thine, and endless praise.
Prayer of the Church and the Lord’s Prayer
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Hymn # 57 Hallelujah, Praise Jehovah, O My Soul
1 Hallelujah, praise Jehovah, O my soul, Jehovah praise; I will sing the glorious praises of my God through all my days. Put no confidence in princes, nor for help on man depend; he shall die, to dust returning, and his purposes shall end.
2 Happy is the man that chooses Israel's God to be his aid; he is blessed whose hope of blessing on the Lord his God is stayed. Heav'n and earth the Lord created, seas and all that they contain; he delivers from oppression, righteousness he will maintain.
3 Food he daily gives the hungry, Sets the mourning prisoner free, raises those bowed down with anguish, makes the sightless eye to see. Well Jehovah loves the righteous, and the stranger he befriends, helps the fatherless and widow, judgment on the wicked sends.
4 Hallelujah, praise Jehovah, O my soul, Jehovah praise; I will sing the glorious praises of my God through all my days. Over all God reigns forever, through all ages he is King; unto him, your God, O Zion, joyful hallelujahs sing.
Benediction
