Welcome Call to Worship Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits. Psalm 103:1–2 (NKJV)
Hymn # 76 Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven
1 Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, to his feet your tribute bring; ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, who, like me, his praise should sing? Praise him, praise him, praise him, praise him, praise the everlasting King. 2 Praise him for his grace and favor to our fathers in distress; praise him, still the same forever, slow to chide and swift to bless; praise him, praise him, praise him, praise him, glorious in his faithfulness. 3 Father-like, he tends and spares us; well our feeble frame he knows; in his hands he gently bears us, rescues us from all our foes; praise him, praise him, praise him, praise him, widely as his mercy goes. 4 Frail as summer's flow'r we flourish, blows the wind and it is gone; but while mortals rise and perish, God endures unchanging on. Praise him, praise him, praise him, praise him, praise the High Eternal One. 5 Angels, help us to adore him; you behold him face to face; sun and moon, bow down before him, dwellers all in time and space, praise him, praise him, praise him, praise him, praise with us the God of grace
Call To Confession Our Lord Jesus says, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ And also, ‘Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.’ "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us... If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” Let us, therefore, confess ours sins to the Lord, saying together: 1 John 1:8 (NKJV)
Confession of Sins Almighty and Gracious Father, we confess to you that we have sinned by not loving you with our whole heart and by not loving our neighbor as ourselves. Our faith is weak and we easily give in to doubt. Forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness in thought, word and deed. For we ask this in the name of your Son, who is our sure Redeemer and our Savior. Amen. Word of Assurance Brothers and Sisters in Jesus, our Gracious Heavenly Father has forgiven us our sins according to His word that "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:13–14
Song of Renewal Thy cross, not mine, O Christ, has borne the awful load of sins that none in heav'n or earth could bear but God. To whom, save thee, who canst alone for sin atone, Lord, shall I flee? Hymn # 524 stanza 3 Scripture Lesson: Colossians 1:9–18 (NKJV mod.): 9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all endurance and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the authority of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the ruler, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. Sermon

Prayer of the Church with the Lord’s Prayer
Let us pray together as Jesus taught us:
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Hymn # 45 Now unto Jehovah, Ye Sons of the Mighty
1 Now unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, all glory and strength and dominion accord; ascribe to him glory, and render him honor, in beauty of holiness worship the Lord, in beauty of holiness worship the Lord.
2 The voice of Jehovah comes down on the waters; in thunder the God of the glory draws nigh. Lo, over the waves of the wide-flowing waters Jehovah as King is enthroned on high! Jehovah as King is enthroned on high!
3 The voice of Jehovah is mighty, is mighty; The voice of Jehovah in majesty speaks: The voice of Jehovah the cedars is breaking; Jehovah the cedars of Lebanon breaks, Jehovah the cedars of Lebanon breaks.
4 Each one, in His temple, His glory proclaimeth. He sat on the flood; he is King on his throne. Jehovah all strength to his people imparteth; Jehovah with peace ever blesseth his own, Jehovah with peace ever blesseth his own
Benediction
